Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest locked in big battle to sign 23yr old

Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest are actively pursuing Marseille’s talented winger Luis Henrique, with both Premier League clubs looking to make a splash in the upcoming transfer window.
The 23-year-old Brazilian has attracted widespread attention across Europe, and the competition for his signature is heating up quickly.
According to reports from La Provence, as shared by Le10 Sport, both English sides remain firmly in contention.
However, they aren’t alone. Bayern Munich and Inter Milan have also entered the fray, and both clubs are considered more attractive destinations for the player.
With his contract at Marseille running until 2028, the Ligue 1 club still holds firm control over the winger’s future, yet it’s becoming increasingly likely he may not remain in France much longer.

Inter Milan appear especially eager to complete a deal. Journalist Niccolò Ceccarini, writing for TuttoMercatoWeb, revealed that Inter are intensifying their pursuit of the Brazilian star.
They’ve already begun negotiations and reportedly received a positive response from Henrique himself.
The Serie A giants are working closely with Roberto De Zerbi’s team to finalize the deal and hope to wrap things up before the end of May, aiming to include him in their squad for the Club World Cup.
Despite Inter’s aggressive push, the transfer saga is far from over. Financial disagreements could open the door for English clubs.
Marseille are demanding a fee in the region of €30–35 million, while Inter are hesitant to go beyond €25 million.
This leaves Newcastle and Nottingham Forest with a real chance to leapfrog the Italians by meeting the asking price, something they’re both financially capable of doing.
Still, time is of the essence. With fierce competition from some of Europe’s elite clubs, Newcastle and Forest must act decisively if they want to land the promising winger.
A quick and convincing move could sway the deal in their favor, especially if Inter remain firm on their lower offer. Henrique’s future is uncertain, but one thing is clear—he won’t be short on options this summer, and the race to sign him is intensifying by the day.
