Newcastle United have expressed interest in signing Nice goalkeeper Marcin Bulka, as reported by journalist Tomasz Włodarczyk.

Włodarczyk states that Newcastle has recently reached out to the Ligue 1 club to discuss Bulka’s availability. Nice, according to Włodarczyk, might be willing to part with the 24-year-old for around €25m.

However, Newcastle isn’t alone in their interest, as AC Milan is also eyeing the towering 6ft 6′ goalkeeper as a potential successor to French No. 1 Mike Maignan.

Bulka has had an impressive season in Ligue 1, boasting 17 clean sheets in 34 matches. His performances have marked him as one of the top goalkeepers in the league. As a young and relatively affordable option, Bulka fits the profile of the high-caliber competition Newcastle seeks for Nick Pope.

Yet, with Newcastle also being linked to Burnley’s James Trafford, Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili, and Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale, it’s uncertain if Bulka is their primary target.

Here are some highlights showcasing the skills of the former Chelsea and PSG prospect:
