With a large group of senior players already on the books, Newcastle are said to be conscious of the need to trim numbers where possible.
This is less about raising funds for major signings and more about ensuring the squad remains manageable, competitive, and compliant with financial regulations.
As a result, the club is actively open to discussions around outgoing transfers if the right opportunities present themselves.
One of the names most strongly linked with a potential exit is Jamaal Lascelles. The defender has endured a long spell out of the team and is now keen to secure regular first-team football elsewhere.
