Newcastle United ‘willing to make investment’ for midfielder – Magpies want ‘immediate’ agreement

Newcastle United are accelerating their efforts to sign Allan Elias, with the club pushing for an immediate agreement after identifying the Palmeiras midfielder as a priority target.

According to new reports from Brazil, the Premier League side are prepared to make a significant financial commitment to bring the 21-year-old to England as quickly as possible.

Palmeiras have already shown they will not be easy to negotiate with. Earlier this year, they turned down a €20 million bid from Zenit, signalling that they expect any serious offer to be much higher.

Figures around the club believe future proposals could reach €32 million before they even consider opening the door. With Allan’s release clause set close to €100 million, Palmeiras remain in full control and under no pressure to sell, which means any club wanting him will have to submit a strong offer from the start.

Several English clubs have shown interest in the midfielder. Brighton were the first to track him, and they were quickly followed by West Ham, Fulham and Everton.

However, Newcastle have now emerged as the most determined contender, acting with more urgency than their rivals. They want to strike a deal before anyone else takes formal action, convinced that Allan’s profile aligns perfectly with their vision for the future.

At Palmeiras, Allan has become one of Abel Ferreira’s most trusted players this season. His consistent performances and growing influence in big matches have earned him admiration from supporters and staff alike.

Those inside the club even compare his trajectory to recent academy stars such as Endrick and Estevão, believing he has the talent to reach a similar level of success. With that belief, it is no surprise Palmeiras plan to demand a high transfer fee.

Newcastle, though, see Allan as a long-term investment rather than a short-term solution. They believe his style and potential make him an ideal fit for the Premier League, and the presence of Brazilian internationals Bruno Guimarães and Joelinton could help him settle quickly on Tyneside.

Both players have established themselves as leaders within the squad, and their experience in adapting to English football would be invaluable for a young talent arriving from Brazil.

The message coming from Brazil is clear: Newcastle want Allan, and they want to move fast. The club are prepared to invest, convinced that this is the right moment to secure a player who could become a major figure in their project.

Whether Palmeiras will be willing to negotiate remains to be seen, but Newcastle’s intent is unmistakable as they push ahead with one of their most ambitious moves of the window.
